Connect for Progress is a groundbreaking initiative launched by StandWithUs, an international and non-partisan Israel education organization.

 

Now more than ever, we feel a responsibility to look at the practical problems that exist around us and do what we can to help solve them. At the same time, we're more committed than ever to educating about Israel and fighting antisemitism. Connect for Progress is how we (and you) can do both at the same time.

We are taking Israel activism to the next level.

 

How? By identifying challenges communities are facing across the U.S. and beyond, matching those challenges with unique Israel solutions, and empowering people in our network to advocate for those solutions locally.

​

Connect for Progress is launching with a limited number of projects in areas such as clean water access, renewable energy, and COVID-19 recovery. However, the ultimate goal is to identify matches between local challenges and unique Israeli solutions across the board. From there, StandWithUs will empower our network of activists and partners to build relationships with local leaders and advocate for those solutions in their communities. We will also share and amplify success stories to educate new audiences about Israel and build momentum behind the most effective Israeli solutions.

In addition to its own research and outreach, Connect for Progress works with Start-Up Nation Central to identify Israeli businesses and organizations that can help solve local challenges. We have also connected with companies through Israel Economic Missions and other avenues. This has already led to numerous positive relationships, including our exciting partnership with Israeli company Watergen and Native American non-profit Bright Path Strong.
